What IV Drip at Home is
IV Drip at Home is a booking service for intravenous drips given where you are: a villa, an apartment, a hotel room or a meeting room at work. It is run by Tamam, a UAE on-demand services company. Tamam does not give drips itself. We pass your request to a licensed partner clinic, whose clinician reviews your health answers and decides whether a drip is suitable and what it should contain. If it goes ahead, one of their licensed nurses visits. You arrange everything in a single WhatsApp conversation.
How a booking works
Message us
Send a WhatsApp message with the drip you are interested in, your area and a time that suits you. Not sure which drip to choose? Say what prompted you to look, and we take it from there.
Answer a few health questions
We ask about allergies, medicines, pregnancy and any long-term conditions. Your answers go to the partner clinic’s clinician, who may confirm the booking, suggest a different drip, or advise you to see a doctor first.
Confirm the details
Once the clinician is comfortable, we confirm the clinic, the drip, the address and the quoted price with you. Nothing is booked until you have agreed to all of it in writing on WhatsApp.
The nurse visits
A licensed nurse arrives with a sealed kit, checks your vital signs and history again, places the cannula and stays until the bag is finished. Then they remove the line and leave you clear aftercare advice.
Browse drips by goal
Most people start with a reason rather than an ingredient: a long flight, a hot day outdoors, a heavy week at work, or simply feeling run down. Pick the goal closest to yours below. The clinician still decides the final contents, and sometimes the honest answer is water and rest.

Hi, I’d like to book an IV drip at home. (via ivdripathome.com/en/)
Where we arrange visits
We coordinate visits in all seven emirates, from Dubai Marina towers and Abu Dhabi island apartments to villas in Al Ain, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Coverage on any given day depends on which partner clinics have a nurse free nearby, so remote addresses can take longer to arrange. Find your area below, or simply message us.

Why licensed clinicians matter
An IV drip puts fluid and medicines straight into a vein. That bypasses the filtering the gut normally provides, so mistakes carry real consequences. In the UAE, giving a drip is a medical procedure that must be carried out by licensed professionals working for a licensed facility. That is why every visit we arrange goes through a partner clinic, and why their clinician, not us, makes the medical decisions.
Assessment before the bag
Your health answers are reviewed before the visit, and the nurse checks blood pressure, pulse and history again on arrival. If something has changed since you booked, the plan changes too.
A sterile, single-use kit
Cannulas, lines and syringes come sealed and are opened in front of you. Nothing that touches the vein is reused, and used sharps leave with the nurse in a proper container.
The nurse stays throughout
Nobody hangs a bag and walks out. The nurse remains in the room for the whole infusion, watches how you respond, adjusts the flow if needed and is ready to stop at once.
Knowing when to say no
A good clinician turns some bookings down. Chest pain, pregnancy, kidney or heart problems, or symptoms that still need a diagnosis all point towards a doctor or hospital rather than a home drip.
Common questions
Who actually gives the drip?
A licensed nurse employed by one of our partner clinics. Their clinician reviews your health answers before the visit and has the final say on whether the drip goes ahead and what goes into it. Tamam’s role is coordination: we take your request, find a clinic that can cover your area and time, and keep you updated on WhatsApp.
Can I have a drip in my hotel room?
Usually, yes. Many hotels are relaxed about a visiting nurse, though some ask guests to inform the front desk or to meet the visitor in the lobby. Tell us the hotel name when you book so we can pass any access details to the nurse. A quiet room with a chair or bed is all that is needed.
How long does a visit take?
Plan for roughly an hour, sometimes more. The infusion itself is often 30 to 60 minutes, and the clinician sets the rate according to the drip and how you respond. Add a few minutes at the start for checks, and at the end for removing the cannula and going through aftercare.
Are IV drips better than drinking water or taking vitamins?
For most healthy people, not necessarily. Drinking fluids and eating well cover everyday needs, and the evidence for routine IV vitamins is limited. A drip has a clearer role when someone cannot keep fluids down, or when a doctor has identified a specific need. The clinician can tell you honestly whether an oral option would do the job.
Is it safe?
Any procedure involving a vein carries some risk, including bruising, infection, vein irritation and, rarely, allergic reactions. Those risks are lower when a licensed clinician screens you first, uses a sterile kit and stays with you throughout. If the screening suggests a drip is not right for you, the clinic will say so plainly.
What does it cost?
The price depends on the drip, any add-ons, your location and the time of the visit. Late evenings, public holidays and remote addresses can change the quote. You receive the full price on WhatsApp before you confirm, so there are no surprises when the nurse arrives.
