IV drips at home in Ajman
Yes. IV Drip at Home arranges drips in Ajman, the smallest emirate, at apartments along the Corniche, towers in Al Nuaimiya and Emirates City, villas in Al Zorah and Al Helio, and beachfront hotels. Tamam coordinates on WhatsApp; a licensed partner clinic reviews your details and sends a nurse licensed by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). The inland enclaves of Masfout and Manama need extra notice.

Across Ajman
Ajman is compact, and most residents live within a short drive of the Corniche. The coastal core mixes high-rise apartments in Al Nuaimiya, Al Rashidiya and Al Sawan with the older, busier streets of Al Bustan beside the free zone. Northwards, Al Zorah is a newer district of villas, a golf course and protected mangroves, while Emirates City and Al Helio sit inland close to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. The emirate also owns two enclaves far from the sea: Manama in the interior and Masfout in the Hajar foothills near Hatta. A visit within the city is usually simple to arrange; the enclaves take proper planning.

Visitors and hotels
Ajman draws weekend visitors from the bigger emirates and holidaymakers who want a quieter beach than Dubai’s. Most hotels line the Corniche, with a resort cluster at Al Zorah. Guests often get in touch after a long journey or a full day in the sun, wanting to rest in the room. Each hotel decides whether outside clinicians may go up to rooms, and most want reception informed, so let the front desk know a nurse is coming and share the room number. Families visiting relatives in Ajman villas sometimes book for a parent recovering from a tiring trip.
Heat and seasons
Sitting right on the water, Ajman city is humid all summer, and the sea breeze does little on still afternoons. Many residents commute to Dubai or Sharjah, spend long stretches in traffic and reach home tired and short of fluids. Masfout, up in the foothills, can feel a little less sticky, with more pleasant winter evenings. Ramadan moves appointments to the evening, once people have broken their fast. Plain water and regular meals stay the basics, and the clinician will tell you when a drip would add little.
Access and parking
Short distances are Ajman’s advantage. There are no toll gates in the emirate, and outside rush hour a nurse can reach most city addresses quickly. Paid public parking applies along the Corniche and in the busier commercial streets, and older apartment blocks often have little space for visitors. Towers in Al Sawan and Emirates City generally have a security desk where guests sign in. In Al Zorah, the resident usually arranges a gate pass. Traffic thickens at the Sharjah border during commuting hours, which can delay a nurse coming from that side.
Licensing in Ajman
As in the other northern emirates, Ajman’s health facilities and professionals are licensed by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). The partner clinic covering an Ajman address works under a MOHAP facility licence, and the visiting nurse holds a MOHAP professional licence. You can ask us which clinic is attending before the visit, and ask the nurse for their licence at the door. The clinician may decline a drip or refer you to a doctor; that judgement is part of a safe service, not an obstacle to it.
Who may give an IV drip in the UAE
In the UAE an IV drip is a medical procedure, not a beauty treatment. It is given by clinicians licensed for it, working under a licensed health facility, after an assessment. Which authority licenses them depends on where the visit happens.
| Where | Licensing authority |
|---|---|
| Dubai | Dubai Health Authority (DHA) |
| Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra | Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) |
| Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah | Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) |
We pass bookings only to partner clinics licensed for the emirate of your visit. You are always welcome to ask the nurse for their name and licence details.
Drips often requested in Ajman
Ajman: common questions
Can a nurse reach Masfout or Manama?
Yes, by arrangement. Masfout sits in the Hajar foothills near Hatta, and Manama lies inland, so both are a long drive from Ajman city. Share a location pin and the day you prefer, and the partner clinic will confirm what is realistic. For anything urgent, the nearest hospital or 998 is the right call, not a home visit.
I am staying at a hotel on Ajman Corniche. What should I tell reception?
Tell them a licensed nurse from a partner clinic is visiting, give the expected time we confirm on WhatsApp, and leave your room number. Some hotels ask the guest to come down and meet the visitor; others call up to the room. If the hotel only allows its own medical provider, we will let you know before anything is booked.
Do I need a doctor’s assessment first?
For most wellness drips, a clinician at the partner clinic reviews your WhatsApp answers and the nurse checks you in person. Some drips, such as those for migraine or suspected heat exhaustion, need a physician’s assessment before the booking goes ahead, and an iron infusion requires a doctor’s prescription based on blood tests. Anything concerning in your history means a referral to a doctor.
Are late evening visits possible in Ajman?
Late appointments can sometimes be arranged, depending on the partner clinic’s availability and nurse rota. Because Ajman is small, evening travel is usually quick once commuter traffic has cleared. Say on WhatsApp what time suits you. If you feel too unwell to wait for a scheduled visit, go to an emergency department or call 998.
