Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information IV Drip at Home collects when you contact us, why we need it, who receives it and how you can control it. The site is operated by Tamam. Last updated 5 November 2026.

What we collect

Apart from the anonymous visit statistics described below, we only collect what you send us or what we need to arrange a visit. Most of it reaches us through WhatsApp messages.

Please share only general health information with us. Detailed medical history belongs in your conversation with the partner clinic’s clinician, who records it under their own professional obligations.

  • Your name and phone number
  • The content of your WhatsApp messages, including any voice notes
  • Your area, building or hotel, and access details such as a unit or room number
  • Booking details: the drip requested, date, time and number of people
  • Health information you choose to share, such as conditions, medicines or allergies

Why we use it

We use your information to arrange your booking with a partner clinic: to understand the request, find a licensed clinic that covers your area, pass the details to its clinician for review, confirm the appointment and follow up afterwards.

We also use it to answer your questions, handle feedback or complaints, and keep the records we are required to keep. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your health details for advertising.

Who receives it

The partner clinic that will deliver your care receives the details it needs to assess you and plan the visit. Its clinicians and nurses may contact you directly, and the clinic keeps its own medical records about any treatment it provides.

WhatsApp is a service of Meta and has its own terms and privacy policy, which apply to the messages you send through it. If you would rather share less on WhatsApp, keep your message to the booking basics and give health details directly to the clinician.

We may also disclose information where UAE law requires it, for example at the request of a competent authority. Beyond that, and apart from the anonymous website statistics described below, we do not share your details with anyone else.

Health information and UAE law

Health details are sensitive, and we treat them that way. We handle personal data in line with UAE law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and the federal law on the use of information and communications technology in health fields (Federal Law No. 2 of 2019).

In practice this means we ask only for what is needed, limit access to the people coordinating your booking, and pass health details only to the clinic responsible for your care. Partner clinics are separately bound by the health data rules that apply to licensed providers in their emirate.

This website: anonymous visit statistics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how this website is used: which pages are visited, roughly which country or city visits come from, what kind of device is used and whether the booking buttons work. The results reach us as totals and trends, not as profiles of individual people. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, so this data is not used to show you adverts. Google processes it on our behalf, which may involve servers outside the UAE.

Google Analytics sets first-party analytics cookies in your browser so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. It does not log or store IP addresses, and we never send it your name, phone number or the content of your messages. When you tap a WhatsApp or app-download button, the click is counted as an event, but nothing you write afterwards is recorded. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and the site will still work normally.

As with any website, the servers that deliver these pages may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and reliability. The booking buttons open WhatsApp or the Tamam app’s download page; once you leave this site, the privacy terms of those services apply.

How long we keep it

We keep booking information only for as long as we need it to arrange and follow up on your visit, and for any longer period that legal or clinical record requirements demand. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

The partner clinic keeps its own medical records about your assessment and treatment, for the periods set by the health rules that apply to it. Requests about those records should go to the clinic, and we can help you reach it.

Your rights

Subject to UAE law, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, and ask us to delete it where the law allows. You may also object to certain uses, or ask us to restrict them, where the law gives you that right.

To make a request, message us on WhatsApp at +971 50 601 1938. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we will explain if a legal or clinical requirement means we cannot delete something.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our practices or the applicable rules change. The current version is always on this page, and the date below shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you through the channel you used to contact us.
