IV drip at home in Saadiyat Island
We do. On Saadiyat, IV Drip at Home coordinates drips in beach resorts, gated villa communities and the apartment buildings near the Cultural District. Tamam handles the arrangements; a partner clinic regulated by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) assesses each request, and its licensed nurse comes to your room or home and stays for the whole drip.

The area
Saadiyat feels quieter than its neighbours. A long natural beach runs along the north shore, lined with a handful of large resorts rather than a strip of towers. Behind them sit gated villa communities such as Saadiyat Beach Villas and Hidd Al Saadiyat, newer homes at Saadiyat Lagoons, and low-rise apartment blocks at Mamsha Al Saadiyat. The Cultural District draws visitors to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, teamLab Phenomena and the newer national and natural history museums. NYU Abu Dhabi brings students and faculty housing too.

Getting to you
Two routes lead in. From the city, the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Bridge crosses from the Mina Zayed side and carries a Darb toll gate, charged Monday to Saturday from 7 to 9 in the morning and 3 to 7 in the afternoon. From Yas and the airport side, Sheikh Khalifa Highway arrives from the east. Villa communities have a manned gate, so register the nurse with security or your community app. Resorts usually want the guest to tell the front desk that a medical visitor is expected.
Why people here book
Many enquiries come from resort guests who landed overnight from Europe or Asia and want a calm first day by the pool. Families in the beach villas ask when one person has a lingering bug and nobody wants to sit in a clinic with the children. Visitors who spent a long, hot day walking between museums sometimes ask about hydration; water, shade and electrolytes often do the job, and the clinician will say so if a drip is unnecessary.
Timing
Resorts fill up from late October to April, and winter weekends bring day visitors to the beach clubs and museums. If you are crossing the Sheikh Khalifa bridge, avoiding the afternoon toll window also avoids the worst queue. Inside gated communities, school-run hours slow the entrance gates briefly. Summer is quieter on the island, though heat makes mid-afternoon walks in the Cultural District tiring.

Who licenses the visit
Saadiyat Island lies within Abu Dhabi emirate, so home and hotel drips here are given under a Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) licensed clinic. Resort spas operate under their own rules; a home drip from our partner is a separate medical visit.

Questions from Saadiyat Island
Will my Saadiyat resort let the nurse come to my room?
Most do, as long as you, the guest, let the front desk know a licensed nurse is visiting and give the expected time. Some resorts escort visitors to the room. If a property has a stricter policy, the session can sometimes take place in a private lounge instead; tell us the resort name when you book.
How does the nurse get into Saadiyat Beach Villas or Hidd Al Saadiyat?
Both have a guarded entrance. Add the nurse as a visitor through your community system or call security with the arrival window, and share your villa number with us. A dropped location pin on WhatsApp helps, as streets inside the communities look alike after dark.
I have just flown in. Should I book straight away?
Many travellers simply drink water, eat lightly and nap, and feel better without a drip. If you still want one, message us with your flight details and any health conditions. The clinician decides whether it is suitable, and may suggest resting first if you are very tired or unwell.
