IV drip at home in Palm Jumeirah
Yes, on every part of the Palm: apartments on the trunk, villas on the fronds and resort rooms on the crescent. IV Drip at Home, run by Tamam, organises the visit. Clinical decisions sit with a partner clinic that the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has licensed; it confirms the drip suits you, then sends a licensed nurse who stays for the full session.

The area
The Palm splits into three very different parts. The trunk carries apartment buildings such as the Shoreline Apartments and Golden Mile, along with Palm Jumeirah Mall, known until 2025 as Nakheel Mall. The fronds branching off it are lined with private beach villas behind gated entrances. Around the outer crescent sit large resorts, from Atlantis The Palm and Atlantis The Royal to One&Only The Palm. Owners, long-stay tenants and holiday renters live side by side, and plenty of villas are let short-term.

Getting to you
Everything on the Palm funnels through the trunk road from Sheikh Zayed Road, so a jam at the entrance delays every address on the island. The crescent is reached through a tunnel under the water, which adds time for resorts on the far side. Each frond has a security barrier, and the guard may phone the villa before lifting it, so give us the frond letter and villa number and keep your phone close. Resorts work through valet and lobby check-in. The Palm Monorail is no use to a nurse carrying equipment.
Why people here book
Resort guests drive much of the interest: people recovering from a long-haul journey who would rather not leave the room, or families wanting several drips during one stay. Villa owners sometimes ask before hosting visitors or after a period of heavy travel. Groups gathered on the island for a celebration occasionally ask about hydration drips before a long day. Whatever the reason, the clinician reviews health details first and may suggest an oral alternative instead.
Timing
Late afternoon is the hardest time to get on or off the trunk, as residents head home and resort traffic builds. New Year’s Eve and other fireworks nights can clog the crescent for hours. Weekday mornings usually run smoothly. Large resorts keep their own rhythm too: allow for a lobby check and a long corridor walk, which in the biggest hotels can take several minutes on its own.

Who licenses the visit
Palm Jumeirah is part of Dubai, so the partner clinics and nurses who visit hold licences from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Resorts set their own visitor procedures, but those sit alongside, never in place of, the clinic’s DHA licence.

Questions from Palm Jumeirah
Does frond security need the nurse’s details in advance?
It helps. Tell us the frond letter and villa number, and if your community lets residents pre-register visitors, add the nurse’s name once we share it. Otherwise the guard will usually call you from the barrier, so keep your phone nearby around the arrival time.
Can I have the drip in an Atlantis or crescent resort room?
Usually, once the hotel knows. Large resorts on the crescent often ask outside visitors to check in at the main lobby, and some send a staff member to escort them. Tell reception to expect a nurse, and message us the room number plus the booking name. If a resort declines, we can discuss another location.
How much time should I keep free for the whole visit?
Plan for more than the drip itself. Trunk traffic, the crescent tunnel or a frond gate, plus the health check before the cannula goes in, all add time. The drip often runs 30 to 60 minutes at a rate the clinician sets, and the nurse stays with you until it finishes.
