IV drip at home in Al Marjan Island
Yes. We arrange IV drips on Al Marjan Island for resort guests, holiday-apartment renters and the growing number of people living in the island’s towers. Tamam handles the coordination; a licensed partner clinic reviews your health details and sends a nurse to give the drip. Clinics working in Ras Al Khaimah, the island included, are licensed by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).

The area
Al Marjan Island is a group of reclaimed islands pushed out into the Gulf off Ras Al Khaimah’s southern coast. It started life as a resort destination, and large beach hotels, several of them all-inclusive, still set the tone. Around them, apartment towers and branded residences have been rising fast, and cranes are part of the view. The Wynn integrated resort is being built here, with an opening reported for 2027, and it has brought more construction, more road works and a wave of new residents.

Getting to you
Most traffic still reaches the island along the causeway boulevard that leaves Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Road (E11) near Al Hamra, so a queue at that junction delays every arrival. New road links and widening works tied to the island’s developments keep changing lanes and exits, which is why the nurse follows live navigation. Resorts manage visitors closely: tell reception a clinic nurse is coming, share the room number and booking name, and confirm the hotel accepts outside clinicians. Newer towers often register visitors at the lobby concierge.
Why people here book
Most messages come from people on holiday. Families spending several nights at the big resorts sometimes ask after a long sunny day by the pool, or when one person feels run down. Guests who flew in from Europe or Russia enquire about jet lag. Friends renting an apartment for the weekend ask about sessions together, and the clinician screens each person separately. Residents of the newer towers tend to book for quieter reasons, such as fluids after a stomach bug, once the clinician has reviewed them.
Timing
The New Year’s Eve fireworks along the Al Marjan coast draw very large crowds, and the approach roads can be gridlocked for hours, so plan around that night. Public holidays and long weekends fill the resorts and slow the E11. November to March is peak season. Partner availability and travel time vary, and visits are often booked ahead, especially for groups.

Who licenses the visit
Al Marjan Island belongs to Ras Al Khaimah, so the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) licenses the clinics and clinicians who visit. A hotel spa menu is separate from a licensed medical visit, so it is worth knowing which one you are booking.

Questions from Al Marjan Island
Does my all-inclusive resort allow an outside nurse?
Policies differ between the island’s resorts and can change. Ask reception before booking. If the hotel is fine with it, we share the nurse’s name and arrival window so security and the front desk expect them. If not, the clinician may suggest another suitable address or advise seeing a doctor.
We are six friends in a holiday apartment. Can everyone have a drip?
Possibly, but each person answers the health questions individually, and the clinician can decline anyone. A group may need more than one nurse, which takes extra planning on an island where traffic funnels through one main approach. Send numbers and preferred times early; the partner clinic will confirm a schedule rather than promise a single arrival.
Is the island far from where nurses are based?
It sits at the edge of Ras Al Khaimah, and partner clinics may be in the city or further afield, so travel time depends on the clinic, the hour and traffic on the causeway. When the visit is confirmed we give you an expected window, never a guaranteed arrival time.
