IV drip at home in Al Maryah Island
Yes. Al Maryah Island is one of the places IV Drip at Home serves, mainly for hotel guests, residents of the island’s towers and teams in its office buildings. Tamam arranges each visit, while a partner clinic licensed by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) carries out the clinical review and sends a licensed nurse to give the drip.

The area
Al Maryah is Abu Dhabi’s financial island, compact and polished. Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) occupies the glass towers of its central square, and The Galleria mall runs along the waterfront below. Two luxury hotels, the Rosewood and the Four Seasons, sit at either end of the action, and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi stands on the island too. Homes are mostly branded and serviced apartments, such as the Four Seasons Private Residences and Al Maryah Vista, occupied by executives and long-stay corporate guests. Evenings bring diners to the promenade.

Getting to you
Short bridges connect Al Maryah with Al Reem on one side and the main island grid on the other, so arrival is usually quick outside rush hour. Office towers are the strictest addresses: turnstiles, visitor passes and sometimes an ID check at the lobby desk. A colleague or reception should pre-register the nurse. Hotels and branded residences ask you to notify the concierge. Parking is almost entirely in basement car parks under the towers and the mall, so share the right entrance.
Why people here book
Most contacts here relate to working life. An executive lands from an overnight flight and has a board meeting the same afternoon. A team lead wants to organise optional wellness sessions for staff during a heavy quarter. A hotel guest on a multi-city trip feels run down between meetings. The clinician treats each person individually, and an office group booking still means one assessment per participant, with nobody pressured to take part.
Timing
Weekday mornings and the end of the working day bring the heaviest bridge traffic, while lunchtime slots inside office buildings are easiest to arrange. Weekends are quieter in the towers but busier at The Galleria and its car park. During Ramadan, shorter office hours shift demand towards the afternoon and after iftar. Large conferences at the hotels fill visitor parking on certain days.

Who licenses the visit
ADGM is a financial free zone with its own commercial rules, but health services on Al Maryah are still licensed by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH). Our partner clinics and their nurses hold DoH licences.

Questions from Al Maryah Island
Can a nurse come to my office in an ADGM tower?
Usually, yes, if your company and building management allow it and a private room is available. Ask your reception to pre-register the nurse with the time and floor, because tower security will not let unregistered visitors through. The clinician reviews your health details before the visit, exactly as for a home booking.
Can we arrange drips for several colleagues at once?
Yes, as a corporate wellness booking. Each participant answers their own health questions privately and is assessed separately; some may be advised against a drip. Participation must be voluntary. Tell us the number of people, the room set-up and the timings, and the clinic will plan staffing and session length.
I am staying at a hotel on Al Maryah. What should I tell the front desk?
Let them know a licensed nurse from a medical clinic will visit, with the expected arrival time and your room number. Some hotels ask for the nurse’s name in advance, which we can share. The nurse checks in at the desk, comes to your room and stays for the whole drip.
