IV drip at home in Downtown Dubai
Home drips are available across Downtown Dubai: in apartment towers around Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, in Old Town low-rise flats and in hotel rooms. Tamam, which operates IV Drip at Home, manages the booking and the timing. The clinical side belongs to a DHA-licensed partner clinic (Dubai Health Authority), whose nurse assesses you, gives the drip and stays throughout.

The area
Downtown is a compact district built around Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and the lake of the Dubai Fountain. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard circles it, lined with apartment towers such as Burj Views and Boulevard Point. Across the water, Old Town has lower, Arabic-style blocks near Souk Al Bahar. Hotels range from the Address properties to the Armani Hotel inside Burj Khalifa itself. Residents include professionals, couples and tenants of investor-owned flats, alongside a constant flow of tourists.

Getting to you
The boulevard runs largely one way, so a missed turn can mean a full loop of the district. Many towers have a drop-off bay out front where a nurse can stop briefly, but real parking is underground or in Dubai Mall’s large car parks. Concierge desks usually register visitors and phone ahead. Hotels such as Address Downtown and Palace Downtown handle arrivals at the main entrance with valet. Exits from Financial Centre Road and Al Khail Road clog at peak hours.
Why people here book
Visitors staying near Burj Khalifa often get in touch the morning after a long-haul arrival, hoping to feel steady before a day of meetings or sightseeing. Residents who work across the road in DIFC or Business Bay ask about drips on rest days or during a run of late nights at the desk. Short-stay hotel guests also ask about vitamin drips they have read about online. The clinician weighs each request and may recommend water, food and sleep instead.
Timing
Fountain show evenings and weekend nights bring dense traffic and pedestrian crowds near Dubai Mall. New Year’s Eve is a case of its own: roads around Burj Khalifa close for much of the day, so a visit then needs careful planning or a different date. Big performances at Dubai Opera create short, sharp peaks. Weekday mornings before the mall opens are typically the quietest.

Questions from Downtown Dubai
Can a nurse come to my room at a hotel beside Dubai Mall?
In most cases. Hotels around Dubai Mall typically accept medical visitors when the guest informs the front desk, and the nurse arrives at the main entrance where doormen and valet manage cars. Some hotels ask to see the visitor’s ID. Share the room number and reservation name with us so the nurse can be announced.
Is a visit possible on New Year’s Eve in Downtown?
It is difficult. Road closures around Burj Khalifa begin early in the day and crowds make every movement slow. If you need a drip that day, an early morning slot is more realistic, or consider an address outside the closure zone. We will tell you honestly if a visit cannot be arranged.
I live in Old Town. Is access different from the towers?
A little. Old Town buildings are lower and spread out, with entrances off small internal roads, so a precise pin of your building door is very useful. Parking is often in shared basements. Mention your building name, for example one of the Reehan or Yansoon buildings, when you book.
