IV drip at home in JLT
Across Jumeirah Lakes Towers, drips can be arranged in apartments, hotels and, where permitted, DMCC free zone offices. Tamam is the coordinator, not the provider. Screening is done by a partner clinic that holds a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) licence, and its own licensed nurse visits, gives the drip and stays throughout.

The area
JLT is a grid of towers grouped into lettered clusters, most holding three buildings, set around artificial lakes that include Lake Almas East and Lake Almas West. Almas Tower stands on its own island between them. Residential and office towers are mixed, often within the same cluster, and the free zone is run by DMCC. The area suits young professionals, small families and the many small business owners who live a short walk from where they work. Cafés and grocery shops sit at the foot of most towers.

Getting to you
Give the cluster letter first, then the tower name. Every cluster is ringed by its own small loop of road and similar-looking entrances, so the letter saves real time. JLT lies on the inland side of Sheikh Zayed Road, opposite Dubai Marina, and a missed exit means a long loop back. Paid surface parking circles the clusters and fills on weekday mornings. Lobby guards register visitors and phone the flat, while office towers in the free zone issue passes at reception.
Why people here book
Because so many people here live and work within a few clusters, requests often fit around office hours: a drip at home after work, or on a rest day following a hard week. Residents who have just returned from travel ask about rehydration once they land. Small companies occasionally ask about a group session for staff, which needs the employer’s consent and a private room. The clinician reviews each case and may suggest oral fluids or rest instead.
Timing
Weekday mornings are the heaviest, as office workers arrive and parking around the clusters vanishes. Lunchtime around the lakes is busy on foot. Evenings and weekends usually suit home visits better. Road diversions inside JLT occasionally change routes, so a live pin is worth sending. In the summer months, a short walk from parking to lobby makes a noticeable difference for the nurse and the equipment.

Questions from JLT
What should I write in the address for a JLT tower?
Write the cluster letter, the tower name as it appears on the building, your flat number and a pin of the lobby door. Note whether the lobby faces the lake or the road. This stops the nurse circling clusters that look much alike, especially after dark.
Can a nurse visit my office in the DMCC free zone?
If your employer and building agree, and there is a private space to sit for the full session. Reception will have to issue the nurse a pass. For more than one colleague, mention numbers early, since the partner clinic may need to send additional staff and each person is screened separately.
Is evening a good time to book in JLT?
For home visits, frequently. Evenings avoid the morning parking crush, and once the drip is over you can rest. Weeknight slots can be in demand, so offer a couple of preferred times. If your symptoms feel like more than ordinary tiredness, tell us, as the clinician may want you seen by a doctor first.
